Who knew a serial kiIIer romance could be so funny and so good?!

Butcher & Blackbird was exactly that - a serial kiIIer romcom that had me both giggling and cringing at every page.

I don’t know how Brynne Weaver did it, but she made me fall in love with these two murderers so quickly! Rowan is absolutely gone for Sloan, and if you’ve seen my Abby Jimenez reviews you know I’m a sucker for a man who dumps for his woman. Their relationship over the years develops so naturally, and when I read about the tattoo on his back I was an absolute goner. If Rowan Kane’s fan club has zero members it’s because I am dead.

The book starts with a list of trigger warnings - definitely read them! If you have an issue with body horror or gore this book is not for you. It was, however, for me. 4 stars.
