Brilliant, wow, still stunned.
The book drops you into a magical fantasy as if it was a historical realism. Instead you get historical fantasy as though the golden age of Hollywood was immersed in a fae realm, and that was very normal.
I may never stop thinking about this book and all it’s possibilities. It was unique, hollowing, beautiful, and dark. It ends in a way that makes me know there is more to the story, but we just got a slice of life.
Fantastic.
