Loved Hallie and Rio’s story!
This was honestly one of the best second chance romances I’ve ever read. I enjoyed how the story moved between past and present POVs, considering it's not something I am usually a fan of.
Just like the other books in the series, I found the last 10% of the book too sappy and repetitive 🙃
I like big gestures/revelations, but they felt a bit too much in this book. He bought a house thinking about her, had her mixtapes saved for years, had a tattoo about her. No wonder he couldn't move on 😂
That said, I still think that having everyone sitting around the fire was the perfect ending for this series. I’m going to miss this group so much! (BUT I’m very happy we’re getting a Monty novella!)
And I’m super excited to read more about Wren and her brothers. I have a strong feeling they’re going to be the stars of the new series.
As long as Liz Tomforde keeps writing, I’ll keep reading 😌
