More Than I Could
by Adriana Locke
Oh no. I cannot get on board with this.
1. I didn’t buy into their banter
2. I didn’t like that they admitted their feelings after 2 hours of knowing each other
3. Maybe because I’m a teacher but 2 school adults are treating a child like that? Why are we making teachers the enemy. We get enough shit as it is.
4. I found Megan to be a deeply insecure woman and the story just didn’t become believable for me
5. The way they fought and miscommunicated just screamed that they won’t make it
6. She was flirting with Gavin at the end? Gross.
7. The only reason she listened to him was because he proposed. Omg. No.
8. She doesn’t even say I love you until the epilogue
9. The epilogue does nothing to satisfy what she will do with her life in podunk Illinois.
I have loved other Adriana Locke’s books but I did not like this one.
What I did like? Kennedy. The description of the house. Tucker.
