So odd to see cultivation in a world where poverty feels real, as opposed to the backdrop of the background our MC invariably rises out of. Well-written and gripping. The cultivation system here may be a little confusing, but reading the glossary first solves that without spoiling anything about the story, and it adds a lot of original flavor to the world.
