This is an excellent collection. I was particularly looking forward to the entries by Pat Rothfuss and Neil Gaiman, and they did not disappoint. In fact, I would say the Lightning Tree by Rothfuss is the best of the book. I was pleasantly surprised to find some of my favorite stories were from authors that were new to me. A Year And A Day In Old Theradane by Scott Lynch was one that sent me scurrying to put more of his work on my to-read list. The only one I didn't much enjoy was George R. R. Martin's contribution, which surprised me. It wasn't terrible, just not up to my expectations for him. Overall, I highly recommend this.
