There are parts of this I loved and some beautiful writing. I found it difficult to follow so many changing narrators. I feel I may have connected with this book more if it had been narrated by just Iris and Olive, although I understand the purpose and effect of the multiple narrators. 
I’m starting to lose my ability to stomach such graphic trauma and tragedy, as well.
