What a book.
I've avoided it for years after often being let down by the "greatest book of the century" du jour - ie, to state the obvious, Twilight - but my god.
What a book.
I picked it up reluctantly, bent on loathing it, and within a weekend I'd finished it. Twice.
Don't miss this. Fantastically written, compelling, horrific - this is a rightfully beloved book.
