Heretics Anonymous by Katie Henry
This was a very funny and sarcastic (yet interesting) look at the Catholic religion.
Michael is an atheist, and after yet another move due to his father's job, he is not looking forward to attending St. Clare's. That changes though when he meets the secret group Heretics's Anonymous. Through the people in the group he finds unexpected friendships and understanding--but how long will it really last?
This reminded me a little bit of Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu, with a secret group trying to make changes in their school. Teens who enjoy sarcastic wit and making a difference may really like it.
