Driven to Distraction: Recognizing and Coping with Attention Deficit Disorder from Childhood Through Adulthood by John J. Ratey, Edward M. Hallowell

4.0

I was late diagnosed at 30 with ADHD after years of speculation in my adult life, and fear I was correct and wouldn’t be taken seriously, or fear that I was simply just lazy. I saw a lot of myself in this book, and the case studies. I think that the last chapter was too information dense to end on given the nature of the book, but otherwise found it engaging - I even appreciate the humor of “did you struggle to reach here” for the 100th question.
