We meet great new, and also in a sense well-known, characters in this one, and I so enjoyed it (even though the kidnapping part was not the most original method to create this fusion of storylines, in my opinion). There is still a bittersweet feeling that remains from the last book, but Gruber chose well in making the “best” of it. I am also so pleased to see a character like Miyu getting more spotlight - refreshing and a very important take on integrating a detective character like her.
