A cleverly written story both touching and terrifying. I loved the way that John Boyne really captured the innocence of Bruno in his writing and the way that situations were written without too much detail to keep it suitable for younger readers (albeit not too young). The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is definitely not one to approach without a box of tissues to hand but absolutely worth the heartache.
