My Lady Jane
by Brodi Ashton, Cynthia Hand, Jodi Meadows
This was an interesting read, not what I was expecting. I enjoyed the premise, I thought it was fun. I did enjoy the banter between G and Jane and thought they were cute together. Edward was fine but I didn't really enjoy his chapters all that much, and I wasn't a fan of the romance he ends up in. It felt a bit rushed and unnecessary. I did enjoy the first half more than the second. During the second half so much was happening and I felt like the character development took a bit of a backseat to the plot things that were going on. This wasn't a bad book by any means, I just feel that I probably would have enjoyed this more when I was younger. Where I'm at now in my reading tastes, this wasn't as big of a hit as I was hoping. I still had fun while reading it despite some of the issues I found with it. I'm not sure if I want to continue on with the series, but there is a small chance I might.
