Deep in the Heart of Trouble by Deeanne Gist

3.0

Without realizing that this is the second book in a series, I picked up Deep in the heart of trouble from the library and started reading it. However, I am glad I skipped the first one, because surmising it's content from this book, I don't think I would have liked it. The only regret I have is that I didn't warm to Essie as quickly as I should have, because I didn't know her as well. I really liked Tony Morgan though and enjoyed reading his perspective. Overall a sweet love story.
