Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood
3.0
Was it just me or is this The Love Hypothesis 2.0?
The story follows Bee, a neuroscientist who lands her dream job at NASA, but there's a twist – she must co-lead the project with her grad school nemesis, Levi.
Ali Hazelwood's writing is a true gem, blending humor and heart in a way that instantly draws readers into the world of STEM and academia, however, this repetitive plot makes this book so predictable and shallow.
If I read this book independently, I would have liked it and considered it a fun read, but now I consider it as a dupe of TLH.
Nevertheless, if you’re looking for a cute and fluffy workplace romance set in an academic setting, you’ll enjoy this.
