Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty
4.0
emotional funny slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes

I will never not read a Liane Moriarty book. And this book contained  much of what I like in her others: a big cast of quirky, likeable, flawed characters, lots of wit and humor and heart, and plenty of unexpected events and twists. However, this book started off with too many characters to keep track of, and by the time the main ones emerged I was still quite confused and hard to remind myself who was who. It also felt like a manipulative read. Every chapter ends on a cliffhanger, and since there are multiple narrators, it's awhile before you get to the resolution of each one. By then it's lost its impact because I'm struggling with the cliffhanger of the other POVs.

I won't say too much but I felt like the whole premise of it and the resolution was also manipulative.
