Many parallels from this book to my life, with a missionary mother who died of pancreatic cancer. Also, many many differences. But, very thoughtful, honest, and thought-provoking story. I made several notes on things to remember, such as "When you are with a dying person, sometimes you have to celebrate the past, live in the present, and mourn the future all at the same time."
