The Litter of the Law by Rita Mae Brown

Did not finish book.

I read so many Rita Mae Brown (& Sneaky Pie Brown) books as a child. Imagine my surprise to learn in a women's lit course that she was ACTUALLY an iconic lesbian author and the talking cats and corgis came second. I picked this up as an adult expecting to find the silly dialogue I'd loved when I was 10 with a new eye for queer subtext and it was just... not living up to either expectation.
