A riveting conclusion to this part of Kyoshi’s story with lots of heart and excellent world building. It takes a little too long to really get going, but does build to a rather satisfying climax! I would love to see another book (or two) that shows how these events in the Fire Nation depicted here in The Shadow of Kyoshi may have lead to the Fire Nation we know from the original ATLA series, as we leave off with so much uncertainty following the  epilogue too.
