Mata dan Rahasia Pulau Gapi by Okky Madasari

4.0

A fun way to learn about the history of Eastern Indonesia (Ternate) is to read about Matara's adventures in preserving Gapi Island's heritage hundreds of years ago.

Like the first book, this book contains moral values, educational issues (related to Mama Matara who considers grades and getting into her favorite school very important), and of course contains harsh social criticism of those who expose their carelessness in exploiting the environment and neglecting the environment. heritage that has been passed down and entrusted from their ancestors centuries ago.

The ending is a bit odd, oversimplified, and still confusing, but I still liked the second book more than the first. Both are unique in their ways, but this book intrigued me. I love reading this book, so it is likely that children will enjoy reading this.
