Stick Shift by K.M. Neuhold

4.0

What a sweet and delightful story! There were a lot of things I enjoyed here: friends to lovers, sexual discovery, older MCs and some hurt / comfort.

I loved the familiarity and connection between Red and Journey, their friendship with all of the banter was a lot of fun to read. They were honest and open with each other and I really liked how they communicated instead of just stewing in their own feelings. The relationship developed very naturally between them, they were so sweet and swoony, and I couldn’t help but love these characters.

Stick Shift was a story with no angst, lots of cute animals with big personalities and plenty of humour. I love the friendships in Neuhold’s books and this was no exception, so much camaraderie and affection between these guys!

I adored seeing some of the Four Bears Construction crew, and there was definitely a lot of sexual tension between Riggs and Shep. Super excited to see where this series is heading, and I’m totally here for any MC related spin-off!
