I have mixed feelings about this book, I liked the story for the most part (hence the 4.75 star review), but sometimes it made me groan out loud mainly because of the FMC. I hit the 130-page mark and I still couldn't find it in me to like Anastasia that much, which is hard because I'm a sucker for characters like her, but the author sometimes didn't write her as "likeable". Further into the book she gets better and becomes a much more enjoyable character to read. I did get a bit annoyed at her every time Aaron came into the picture and she would defend him so much. I worried about how her situation with him would end, but her cutting ties with him was a true power move. .
One highlight of the book was definitely Henry, love that little golden retriever, and the rest of the hockey guys.
In the end, I had a good time reading it, couldn't wait to finish it and it did make me want to read the second book in the series, which is good I guess.
