It’s not often I can say I was completely and utterly hooked after the first chapter, but this book had me hooked from the get go.

I had no clue what this book was about and what I was getting into.  I laughed (𝖺 π—…π—ˆπ—), I cried (𝖺 π—…π—ˆπ—) and I had every emotion in between.

Fredrik Backman has such a unique writing style.   I fell in love with literally every single character in this book.   They were an eclectic bunch of people.  Each had something different to bring the pages, and following along with each of them as they went on this journey was both heart wrenching and beautiful.    I loved how so many characters had connections they didn’t even know about.

The police interviews had me laughing out loud. The satire and comedy was just utter perfection.

Please do yourself a favour and pick this book up if you haven’t read it yet, you won’t be disappointed.

And note, I’ve purposely left you in the blind as I think going into this book blind is the way to go!   You can read the synopsis if you must 🀣.

Also, please make note of trigger warnings as this book does deal with some sensitive topics.
