The pacing was much better in this book and I actually enjoyed this book.
The different POVs were still irritating.
Cals whole story could of been emitted and it would have given me the same overall story arc of what happened however.
The ending felt rushed and super unrealistic because King Hansen seemed to want Cal gone gone through out the book but then does a 180 and decides to allow his Queen to have a lover and that his MALE heir is from Cal!?! Whhhhat!??!
Would have rated it higher otherwise.
