Legendborn by Tracy Deonn
2.0
DNF @ 210 pages.
I am SO upset that this didn't work for me. I have heard nothing but good things about this book, and I was so exciting to pick it up! I love retellings and this was definitely one of the most imaginative retellings I've seen. And really, there's nothing wrong with this book. The characters are good, the premise is interesting, and the plot is moving. If you're interested in this book at all, I highly suggest you read it.
For whatever reason, I just couldn't get into it. I couldn't get myself to read more than 20 pages at a time, and after 3 weeks of reading it I wasn't even halfway through. I don't want to give up on this book-- I want to love it the way everyone else seems to love it. But I just couldn't get into it.
