This is a tough one for me to rate because as a love story, it’s maybe 3 stars. As a story of a woman navigating loss and grief and trying to rebuild relationships with her family it’s a definite 5 stars. 

Maybe it’s because I’ve been stuck in a grief headspace lately, but seeing Florence navigate the loss of her father broke and healed me.

Benji was a bit one dimensional and made it hard for me to fall for him. I will say, despite knowing that this is a romance, the twist at the end actually got me because
I had already come to terms with their love story being impossible.
