K don't judge me but this series is one of my favorite series! Spoilers: Bethany and Xavier have to run from heavens warriors because they got married! They go to college and pretend to be brother and sister when Bethany's beat friend transfers to the same school they tell their problem and she will tell no one their secret. The heavenly warriors capture Xavier's little sister and so they don't kill her Bethany hands herself over and she tells Xavier that she WILL find a way back to him. She's in heaven for what feels only like a few days and while there she's runs into : eve Xavier's old girlfriend and an old friend! The only way she can get back to earth is to give up being an angel and she does and she has her wings taken away! When she gets to earth she is in so much pain! She lands in the sea and hears some of her old friends having a campfire, she tries to call to them but can't find her voice! When she finds the strength she gets to the pier and a random guy asks her if she needs a ride home and he gives her a ride home! When they pull up she sees Xavier's car out front she is so happy! When she was walking up the stars to the porch one creaked and phantom started to bark and Xavier said to him that know one was out there and to make him be quiet he opened the door and found Bethany standing right there! He asked her is it really you? And she said it was and they cried and were so happy to be together again! Bethany asked how long she had been gone and he told her 2 years and she started to cry. He got a bath ready for her and asked where her wings were and she told him that it was the only way they would let her go. Xavier asked her why she did it and she said because she couldn't live without him and they lived happily ever after
