I was pleasantly surprised by this book.  I liked the focus on individual people and their varied experiences with AI, the international scope, and the fact that the author wasn't entirely for or against AI.  The book is very approachable.  I'm going to buy myself a copy (I listened to an e-audio from the public library) because I'm seriously considering using it in an undergraduate class I teach.
