The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister by Meghan Quinn

3.0

Brahm has been in love with his best friend's sister for years. Since they met in college, he has been waiting for the right chance to make his move and now's the time. Julia has spent a decade perfecting her her dating business based on personality and compatibility, but when Brahm comes in as a client, she's thrown by his results and charm.

I'm always a huge fan of He Falls First story lines, and I do love the brother's best friend trope, but yikes. This had potential for a very funny bromance series like the Vancouver Agitators, but Brahm lost his charm by being uncomfortably overtly sexual in the very first interaction. If he would've eased into it, I'd feel differently about him but it made him come across as cold and shallow, as opposed to some kind of exciting sex god. Honestly I was more interested in Julia's profiling than most of the interactions so I'd give this a "meh" as far as Meghan Quinn books go.

Tropes: Best Friend's Sibling, Secret Relationship, He Falls First
