This was well written and definitely made me feel unsettled in certain parts, but it wasn't "scary". I had high expectations and they weren't really met, but I have to admit the writing was great. You do feel like you're there with everyone just watching everything happen. I'm giving it 3 stars because again, it wasn't really "scary" and the whole story just wasn't for me. It was hard to read through since I got exasperated of the characters from the very beginning and it was almost a DNF, but I just had to keep going to see what the hype was about. Spoiler alert: it wasn't worth it. At least, not for me.
