I am apprehensive of books about middle-aged women going through a midlife crisis of sorts. And books that talk about books have to be treated delicately. So I started this one a little leery, but it quickly grew on me. The plot twist is sweet if a little predictable, but I enjoyed getting to know the women featured and the discussion on the books they chose. Definitely a consideration for book clubs.
