Wild Card by Maggie Rawdon

5.0

Thank you SO much to Wordsmith Publicity for the e-arc. All opinions are my own.

Oh. my. god. How is it that every time I pick up a new Maggie Rawdon book, she really outdoes herself? I thought it couldn't get any better than [b:Overtime|143074597|Overtime|Maggie Rawdon|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1686825964l/143074597._SY75_.jpg|158471854], but boy was I wrong. This book was somehow on another level!

Wild Card follows Tobias & Scarlett, who seemingly hate each other's guts. But - BUT - he agrees to be her fake boyfriend for one night, and if you're an avid fake dating reader like I am, we all know how that goes.... I won't spoil it, but I will say it gets very interesting just that night!

This book has the most unbelievable tension, and what I would consider some secret pining, and the spice.... WOOOWWW. That's all I have to say about that.

You could tell that Tobias and Scarlett really cared for each other, and I absolutely loved to see that. They were secretly so soft for each other!!

I hope to see some more Phantom books in my future. These are so good!!!
