Trey Zeigler is the worst sort of man. He drugs women to get them pliable and willing to sleep with him. Then takes money to keep it a secret.
Trina and her friend find him dead. Eve is pissed off that she has to help her nemesis, Trina, god of hair and make-up.
The more they uncover about Trey, and the people he took advantage of; it turns into a mess.
Then another death occurs. Crap. Was it the same killer? Or was it someone else with totally unrelated reasons? Or someone helping Trey's killer?
These are fun re-reads because I love the characters. JD/Nora does an amazing job developing characters.
