The Wives by Tarryn Fisher

2.0

I’m going to start off my review and say that I read the wives during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and I thought I remembered the book, but was I wrong.

The wives held my interest from the beginning, and only to realize that “Thursdays” name is actually Thursday and not another day of the week.

The plot was engaging and held my interest, but man the twists and turns were unbelievable.

I really enjoyed how Tarryn explored mental illness, through the book, and how it effects everyone different.

Thursday, is the narrator of The Wives and the first part of the novel you learn about her marriage to her husband and the details of his marriage to his two other wives, this part of the book held my interest but as the book started come to its climax, it lost me.

The ending, oh my god the ending. Like what the fuck was that. I didn’t even see it coming.
