A good mafia book! It was a quick read. Nothing too dark and morbid. The plot was fine and the spice was good. Not my favorite but still a good read.
- forbidden romance
- arranged marriage
- sisters fiancée
- Italian mafia in NY
- miscommunication or lack of communication troupe
- touch her and you die
- spice maybe 🌶️🌶️
Elena is the eldest daughter of an Italian mafia Don. After an incident that made her mom viable for marriage, Elena’s sister Adriana is arranged to marry Nico, another Don of the mafia. Then Nico lays his eyes on Elena and he does everything in his power to be with Elena and not Adriana.
I enjoyed the characters they were well written and I love the way Nico is. Just didn’t do it 100% for me
