emotional hopeful informative reflective slow-paced

there are so many articles i bookmarked that i relate to or want to come back to later. makes me question my own role and gender as a 21st century nonbinary lesbian a lot, especially since i dont identify within the butch-femme roles. i really liked gayle rubin's "of catamites and kings" article on butches, i feel like that conversation relates to the same topics revolving around conversations on lesbianism and gender today

my favorites: radclyffe hall's "miss ogilvy finds herself"; ina rimpau and carolyn gammon's "cira and yolanda: an interview"; sky vanderlinde's "loving blue" (and the current fixation i have on an "old-time butch"); amber hollibaugh and cherrie moraga's "what we're rollin' around in bed with: sexual silences in feminism"; ❤️ paula austin's "femme-inism" ❤️; myrna elana's "define 'community': this is a test"; barbara ruth's "playing roles"; gayle rubin's "of catamites and kings: reflections on butch, gender, and boundaries"; patrick califia's "diagnostic tests" ; and joan nestle's "our gift of touch"
