I love Murata's writing and the way she expresses different types of alienation and cultural understandings of the world. I'm a huge fan of this collection.

I really loved the pair of stories about the elderly women. And "Hatchling" is my favorite! But of course it is. I've been thinking about Multiple Selves situations for years and years, so it's such a relief to read seriously.
