Leave Me
by Gayle Forman
I’m updating my rating. I’ve thought about the ending more, and I think I love this book even more now.
I have to say, it was instantly relatable. Maybe I shouldn’t admit that? Maribeth is perhaps the quintessential, overly scheduled mother trying to do it all on her own. Not because others can’t help, but because she doesn’t trust anyone else to get it all done.
I really enjoy Forman’s books, this one included. 😊 I would recommend this one, especially as a book club book. I imagine there would be a lot to talk about here.
