I'm writing this review with literal tears streaming down my face. i love this book so much. The discussion of sexuality and questioning were very real and so tactfully handled. Not a lot of books include asexuality in any measure and the discussion (although not a lot of explicit rep) here was beautiful. The handling of mental illness was flawless and realistic. And we got our f*cking happily ever after. I need to buy a copy. i WILL be rereading.
Graphic: Ableism, Biphobia, and Racism
WARNINGS: minor spoilers ahead in giving the trigger/content warnings the book includes some depiction of various forms of bigotry, mostly by one character as well as in the hollywood industry as a whole. It is not violent or overly explicit in my opinion and i did not find it was written in a way that lacked tact or was triggering. But the content was there. so be mindful of harmful sentiments being expressed by characters particularly around mental health as well as some racist and homophobic ideas.
