Three and a half stars. I enjoyed this book but found it very frustrating that having a facial appearance difference was a huge plot point. I thought the characters Lesley and Peter would move on. But Peter’s constant remarks on Lesley’s appearance and his shock reinforces the idea that people with appearance differences are “other”. Writers, you can do better than using appearance or disabilities as a plot point.
