After breaking up with her boyfriend, Penny decides to take a break from relationships. She decides to explore her desires and visits Avalon, an adult club that offers a variety of experiences for its patrons, including anonymous hook up rooms. Penny decides to sign up for the experience and soon hooks up with an anonymous partner through a wall. The encounter is unlike any experience she's ever had and she's excited when her anonymous partner books with her again. Penny goes to the club with hopes of finding the anonymous partner and seeing if he wants to explore something with her. She's in for the shock of her life when she finds out her anonymous partner is her cousin through adoption, Lincoln.

When I read Swallow Your Pride (book one) last year, I knew when we got a teaser of Lincoln and Penny that they were going to give me everything I wanted with their story. I'm happy to report they gave me everything and then some.

This was perfection from the start. I liked how we got to see how both Penny and Lincoln decided to try the anonymous partner route and what they were both looking for from the experience. I loved getting to see how everything changed once their identities were exposed to one another. It's like a light bulb came on for both of them and they realized what they had been missing the whole time.

I love love love a man that is obsessed and down for his girl, which is the definition of Lincoln in this book. I loved how much he wanted to be with Penny and the desperation he felt at watching her slip away. He was so sure that they were meant to be and waited for her to realize that truth. He was supportive of her and just loved her so much.

Their chemistry in spicy scenes was something else. Every time they got together it just got hotter and hotter. I loved that they kept trying to fight it but then would ultimately end up back together again. The hole in the wall (if you catch my drift) isn't something I've read before, but wow was it one of the hottest things I've ever read. The art that Sarah had commissioned for these scenes was informative visually and just as hot as the actual scenes πŸ₯΅πŸ˜
