The third instalment of Hannah Grace’s Maple Hills series follows Halle, the oldest sister, a pathological people pleaser, a demisexual, a reader, a writer, who’s sober with social anxiety, and Henry, mixed-race hockey captain with undiagnosed audhd. Halle wants to experience new things, and Henry needs help with one of his classes, so they strike up an unlikely friendship and come to an agreement to help each other. My favourite characters were Henry and Halle, and my least favourite character was Will, but Hannah’s ability to create distinctly different characters will never fail to amaze me. I recommend this book because I’ve loved this series from the start, and I knew I was going to love Henry’s book but Hannah has exceeded my expectations, she has blown me away with this. THANK YOU HANNAH GRACE. Thank you for bringing me these characters, thank you for capturing my feelings so well, thank you for filling the pages of this book so beautifully with two people like me. “I’d tell you how fucking beautiful you are. That when you laugh I want to listen to it forever. I’d tell you that when I daydream, I think of us. And all the things I want us to do. And all the things I want to do to you.”
