laconsstorynook 's review for:
Blameless
by Gail Carriger
After reading the second book in this series and how that one ended I had to immediately pick up this one. I cannot sing enough praises about this series and I know these reviews are very bias but frankly I do not care because I have found a Niche in reading that I never knew I would love as much as I do and This series is the one that showed me into this Niche of books. This is the middle book in the series which can be dull at times but this is far from it. I love how each book connected but takes you on a completely different adventure. I loved the revelations about the vampires wanting her dead and also about Alexia and her child. I felt for each of the characters at different points in this book just wanting to give them all big hugs including Channing which surprised me. I also would not mind some mechanical lady bugs for myself! I will admit some of the new characters in this book did not have very clear voices so I kept getting confused on who was doing what. I also can see how if you are not in love with this book series this one may bore you because even though they are different adventures I could begin to see the series pattern which I am not complaining about myself but I am aware that this may be the book that people will fall off the series. Sadly I have to wait for my library to have the next book in the series before I can continue it so I hope I do not have to wait too long because I want to know how everything plays out.
