Very interesting concept, wouldn't mind reading more along these lines. Love reading about a historical period I don't know much about and the mix of modern and medieval was very successful. Some characters never fully developed (Professor, Kate to some extent) and others sloppily written (Chris's drastic character change, Gordon's sudden change of heart at the end). Only a few characters seem to act consistently based on the info we were given about them. Otherwise would be 5 stars.
