I absolutely loved Sophie and Xander’s story! When I started this book, I really thought I would be annoyed by Xander’s bad boy reputation - but it was the total opposite. He is a TOTAL golden retriever and the way his character develops is outstanding. I love how in tune he is with Sophie, and he really gets her to come out of her shell (and boy does she).

Sophie is an absolute sweetheart, and I instantly liked her! Xander was so patient with her shyness, and I really appreciated the fact that this wasn’t a “I want to change you” type of story. I loved that she accepted Xander for who he was and didn’t want to change him - he does that for himself.

To see a MMC so smitten had me giddy the entire time I was reading. I love that there is no 3rd act breakup, and the spice was top notch! 🔥 overall, this was a really enjoyable, fast paced read!

Thank you to Sarah Smith for allowing me to read her book! I will definitely be on the lookout for the rest of this series!
