Inadvertently took two weeks off from blogging. Things have been manic at work ... and now I'm 22 reviews behind. But this is step one in catching up! I can do this. Haha. I say that every time. Anyway - here we go.

Another Neighbor from Hell book. I have to say I'm not the biggest fan of this author, but I sure am loving this series. I just want the Bradford men to carry on forever. Though - that's not realistic.

Marybeth and Darrin start out just how I like them. Into each other, but one of them is in denial. And their chemistry is off the charts. I just know this book is going to be grand.

Oh. And there it is. The drama. I get it. There needs to be drama. What I don't like about this particular drama is that she's being secretive to protect Darrin, but then actually not following through on separating herself from him. And not just because he won't let her, but because she's not trying to. That's what's annoying about it. If you're not going to tell him the truth then move on. Which I say, but don't really mean because I obviously want these two to have a happy ending. (rant over)

But they figure it out! And tug on my heart strings in the process. Yay! What a lovely story and combination of people.

I was so excited when I got this book and I was still excited with it when I finished. Loved the characters and the story (even if I did get a little bit annoyed).

Overall, the plot was simple. But that's exactly what you want in a Saturday morning read.

R.L. Mathewson, you nailed it so hard it exploded.
