Moira's Pen by Megan Whalen Turner

4.0

I'm a huge fan of Megan Whalen Turner's writing and world building, and this book is a wonderful companion. Part literary "end credit scenes", part documentary, this book gives you both a number of backstories from the novels as well as snippets from Turner's own life experiences and historical artifacts that inspired the books.

For those who have different editions of the books and may have read other short story releases, several are repeated here. But it's nice to have them all in one place as well as brand new content! All those hinted about moments that we finally get to read...the satisfaction [and joy. and sadness.] is real. It also includes a number of beautiful illustrations.

I'm not crying over End of Eddis, you are!

The one critique I have is that it was difficult to place each story in the timeline, and that made it a little confusing as you start each section. But overall, a must read for any Queen's Thief fan.

Note: I received my copy of the book through a Goodreads giveaway
