Gone West by Carola Dunn

4.0

I am at peace with the fact that Dunn's mysteries aren't just that mysterious, which leave me free to enjoy the way she writes about early 1920's English aristocracy and it's idiosyncrasies. If you go into a Dalrymple novel expected to be stymied with clever twists or wowed with a twist ending, you'll be disappointed. But if you just enjoy Dunn's talent of giving a glimpse into the weirdness that is the English class system, these books are highly entertaining.
