this was a much enjoyable read although there wasn't anything particularly spectacular about it. it didn't lack in anything nor was there anything rather intriguing about this novel, but i overall enjoyed reading it regardless of the fact that i got into a little slump in the time that it took for me to start and finish the book. i also liked that it reminded me alot of 'before the coffee gets cold' based off of the patterns of each of the characters introduced in each chapter and how there were recurring themes of the characters having negative emotions in the beginning and then eventually coming to a positive resolute in the end. this was both a plot and character-driven book which is one thing that i admired about it.
i saw alot of good reviews prior to reading this so i naturally had really high expectations that were quite frankly not meant but i honestly have nothing negative to say about it. and i do believe that there are people that would greatly enjoy this book.
