Stalkers by Paul Finch

I got this book on my Kindle as the other was recommended by a friend and the author was from the Wigan area. when I first started to read it I was not sure if it was my kind of book. the thought of a ring of people organising rape for paying customers was a bit uncomfortable for me but once I got reading it I soon got into the characters in the book.

I thought the first two thirds of the book were really good but the last third was a bit of a let down. The latter chases and battles did not have that "page turner" attitude that the first part of the book had. I was also disappointed with the ending. I was at 90% through the book and it ended - the remainder was the first part of the author's next book. I feel that there was a place for more depth to be given to the story and ended up not knowing what was in the letter to Heck, and how the other 40 odd victims were connected even though we know how their murders happened.

Hard to put into words but overall it was a reasonable book but personally i was disappointed with the ending
